So, we recently found out that Bananas are actually really good for Hangovers. With that, we posted the above status on our facebook page wanting to share this information with the folks that "Like" our page. Let's be serious, no one really enjoys having a hangover, and no matter how we prepare ourselves for a night out, sometimes we might forget to eat then drink too much and the next morning have a nice aching hangover.
We couldn't stop at sharing this tip as just a status so we thought of something we could recommend that includes bananas. Truth be told, bananas are good and beneficial but can be boring on its own, so we decided to make a video sharing a nice recipe for a Banana, Peanut Butter, Milk Shake. Can't tell you how good it is... you have to make it to experience it. We made a short video on how to make our shake (click here if you're on a mobile device):
Nice video, right?
After we made the video, realized there may be some options people want to explore. For example, for folks that are lactose intolerance, they can use Lactose Milk. For a healthier choice, use some Almond Milk. That brings this shake to higher levels of nutrition! So, not only are you treating your hangover but you are eating healthy. "Healthy without realizing" it is what we call it.
What If I Don't Like Peanut Butter?
The fun thing about this shake is that it's a basic recipe and you can add to this as well as substitute the peanut butter for something else if you're allergic to it or just plain do not like it. Maybe instead of peanut butter you can add strawberries, maybe almonds, blueberries, and anything else you might enjoy instead of peanut butter.
We hope that you try this shake at least one time. If you do, let us know how it was and if you did anything different. Another great thing about this shake is that it doesn't have to be just for hangovers. It makes for a great breakfast drink or something for in between meals.

The site that lead to us knowing about Bananas being good for hangovers is Nursing Schools.
Special Thanks to Melissa for much needed additional info.
